Whether you live close by, or on the other side of the world, I hope that you enjoy visiting my website! I like to think of it as an extension of my little studio and shop in Beaumaris, Australia, where there always lots happening and plenty to inspire.
At Chandlers Cottage, we specialise in fabrics and designs with a cultural influence. This means when you visit us on the website or in the studio, you can literally take a trip around the world through your quilting! You will even find in the shop section of the website, that you can search for fabrics by Culture, as well as design and color.
Nearly all our fabrics are manufactured in Japan and are of the highest quality. They include an extensive range of Robert Kaufman fabrics, including my own designs, Under the Australian Sun, Passage to India, Dutch Cottage and the newly released Anastasia, inspired by Russia, and a comprehensive range of Fusions and Kona Solids.
Make sure you join our mailing list while you are here, so we can keep you up to date with what's new, and more importantly, what's coming up, as there's always something exciting around the corner...
If you want to keep up with what I'm up to, please check out my Chandler Chatter blog, or follow me on Leesa Chandler Designs on facebook. On www.leesachandlerdesigns.com, you can also find stores around the globe that stock my patterns and fabrics.
My team and I like to think of Chandler's Cottage as a "Boutique" patchwork service, where nothing is too much trouble. Every fabric is carefully selected and is of the highest quality. Every pattern is designed in-house and is easy to read. Kits can also be custom made to your favourite colour theme, or match a couch or outfit.
I also love teaching, and travel extensively to teach everything from applique to handbag design, so please let me know if you are interested.
So once again, welcome to Chandler's Cottage! I'll leave you to have a look around our website, check out the fabric shop, and please let us know if we can help you with anything.
Warm Wishes and Happy Sewing, Leesa.
